Why TFT-LCD Display can stand out and become a new generation of mainstream display in the face of fierce competition from many flat panel displays is not by chance; it is the inevitable development of human technology and thinking mode. Using the excellent properties of liquid crystals as light valves, liquid crystals have successively avoided the difficult lighting problem, decomposing light-emitting display devices into two parts, namely the light source and the control of the light source. It has achieved brilliant results as a light source in terms of luminous efficiency, full color, and lifespan, and it is still being refined. Since the invention of the LCD, the backlight source has been continuously improved, transitioning from monochrome to color, thick to thin, side-mounted fluorescent lamps to flat-panel fluorescent lamps. The most recent advances in luminescent light sources will enable the development of new backlight sources for LCDs.
